Tom Leonard Continues Listening and Policy Tour
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JULY 23, 2025
DEWITT, MI — Tom Leonard, Republican candidate for Governor, will participate in a roundtable discussion focused on the rising cost of living and economic affordability challenges facing Michigan families. The event, part of the campaign’s “Citizen’s Agenda for State Government” will bring together community leaders, small business owners, property owners, and residential builders to discuss real solutions to the everyday financial pressures citizens face.
“Too many Michiganders are working harder than ever but falling further behind,” said Leonard. “From groceries to gas, housing to healthcare, the cost of living is squeezing families in every corner of our state. That must change.”
This is the first in a series of community-focused events that focuses on affordability and cost of living. Affordability is a central focus of Leonard’s campaign, which is grounded in the belief that Michigan must become a growth state that expands opportunity, lowers costs through competition and innovation, and puts families first.
“We are continuing to travel this state, listening to voters, and o<ering a positive vision focused on fixing problems,” Leonard added. “This roundtable is one of many conversations we’ll have to build an agenda that makes life more a<ordable, wages more competitive, and let’s people know Michigan is open for business.”
The roundtable will be held on Thursday, July 24 in Grandville. Following the event, Tom will be available to answer questions from the press at 4:30 PM at Wildroast Coffee, located at 4035 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. For interview requests, contact the campaign at media@tomformichigan.com
