Leonard announces statewide faith and freedom coaltion

DeWitt, MI — Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Leonard today announced the formation of a statewide Faith & Freedom Coalition comprised of respected pastors and faith leaders from across Michigan who will serve as advisors and ambassadors for the campaign.

The coalition includes:

“Michigan was built by communities of faith who believed in personal responsibility, strong families, and

servant leadership,” Leonard said. “This coalition represents pastors and leaders who understand that faith is

something that informs and inspires how we govern, guides why we serve, and anchors our respect for the

rule of law.”

The Faith & Freedom Coalition will focus on strengthening family values, protecting religious liberty and

ensuring that Michigan remains a state where people of faith can live and work freely without government

interference. Additionally, members will help connect churches and faith communities to the campaign’s

broader agenda on education, public safety, affordability, and government accountability.
